Cassis - Get ready for a sonic detour into the strange and sublime. Cassis is a five-piece art-pop machine fusing synth-drenched Euro-club grooves with punchy rock edges and raw, hypnotic vocals that channel the cool detachment of Nico with a dose of French poetic fire. Their sound seduces and stings - equal parts dancefloor and dreamscape. Their second studio album Riding on Clouds dropped in March, and they’ve got a fresh batch of tracks -recorded in late 2024 - slated for release later in 2025. Expect tunes that lure you in, mess with your head, then get your feet moving.
The Beautiful Losers - Perth veterans with a cult following. Think grungy ballads kissed with pop weirdness. Born in 1987, reborn in 2014, they’ve got three albums under their belt and a sound that’s rugged, real, and totally their own.
