Cassis creates
CINEMATIC MUSZIK-POETICA.

The music itself draws comparison to French bands like Stereolab, given the French-English vocal stylings of Véronique Ramén. That comparison only goes so far, though, as Cassis play a smoother, groove-centred sound that is a little darker than other art-pop acts.
'I Killed a Man' Single Review
Paul Beard, Editor - Perthzine
Cassis is a collective of drenched funk synthesizer riffage, and eclectic art pop rock rhythms driven by French poetica speak-sing vocals. Songs glide effortlessly between French and English.
Ethereal vocals, textured guitars and keys, and evocative storytelling combine to create a sound that is unmistakably their own.
